The AGV that WEWO Techmotion installed at Sirris - an automated guided vehicle from the Move range - is compact to say the least. But its size does not diminish the capacity. With a load capacity of 800 kilograms, the AGV moves all kinds of products with ease.

AGV for lifting and transporting all kinds of products
Sirris is the collective center for the technology industry in Belgium. The AGV Move that we installed here maneuvers compactly in small rooms. In those rooms the AGV moves full frames of products, which are then transported to workstations where employees can use them in the production process. The AGV moves all kinds of products, such as bins and trolleys. All these products are of course in the customer’s system and are communicated to the WEWO MES system. And thanks to product detection, the AGV recognizes the position of the product to be picked, thereby anticipating any shifts in the product.
AGV with two safetyscanners
The arrival of the AGV system speeds up the production process and helps employees in their daily work. And of course the automated guided vehicle carries out its work completely safe. The AGV is equipped with two safety scanners at the corners. These serve for navigation, but also provide 360 degrees of safety - an important added value in any production process in which people are involved.
