AGVs with safety scanners

Thanks to safety scanners, we can guarantee your safety around automated guided vehicles. When stationary but, particularly, also when the automated guided vehicle is moving. This is because the safety scanner determines, checks and monitors safety zones. The dimensioning of those safety zones is formed through calculations based on risk analyses, combined with standards and safety regulations. The standard dimensions are deviated from under exceptional circumstances only. The dimensions of the safety zones are determined by various factors. This includes the environment, acceleration and de-acceleration, moving speeds and the interaction with machines and robot cells.

In addition, an AGV can be equipped with additional sensors and safety edges. We do, of course, also consider matters such as edge protection (in connection with the danger of crushing), safety bumpers for additional protection, blue spots, lighting and acoustic signals. These signals are intended to alert or inform the user and other persons about the status of the AGV. In addition, the automated guided vehicle is provided with one or more emergency stops.
