Automated pallet handling in the food industryStockmeyer is a renowned German producer of sausage specialties, known for its raw, roasted and cooked sausages and hams since 1913. Here WEWO Techmotion installed an AGV Palletmover system for the automated transport of packed pallets from the end of the production process to the central storage. Naturally, the system we delivered meets the high requirements of the food industry.

AGV Palletmover made of stainless steel
The AGV Palletmover facilitates the transfer between end-of-line and warehouse. The fleet management system and the WEWO MES system are connected to the packaging lines. After a pallet of products is ready to be picked, the WEWO MES receives the pick order and forwards it to the AGV system. All pallets are then automatically transported to the central storage. All contact parts are made of stainless steel to comply with regulations in the food industry. And in accordance with WEWO standards, the AGV system is completely safe. There are safety fields around the AGV, there is clamp protection in the forks and there is pallet detection.
