AGV Palletmover for moving cheese
Our solution manages the cheese drying process. As part of the production process the cheese is positioned on racks in a delivery station. The WEWO warehouse management system (WMS) receives the pick order, activates this order and ensures that the AGV Palletmover collects the racks with cheese from the delivery station and transports it to the drying room. All product data of the cheeses, plus the required drying time, are communicated to the WMS.
Solution for the cheese drying process
Then one of the AGVs places the racks with cheese in the drying room. There is room for hundreds of racks, and the WEWO WMS system manages each position and the associated product data. When a rack is positioned, the WMS system manages the drying time of each individual position by means of a received timestamp. When the cheese is dried out, drive orders are automatically generated to remove the racks of cheese from the drying room and hand them over to the next step in the process.
Stainless steel AGV for challenging circumstances
Our solution is unique for several reasons. As mentioned, the automated guided vehicle is completely made of stainless steel, IP 65. In addition, it is a particularly flexible and intelligent system, which is extremely suitable for the challenging circumstances that are normal for the production of cheese. For example, during the production acids and salts are released and the AGV also has to deal with high humidity and damp floors. For this customer we tackled all these challenges.
