Let’s recapitulate. What exactly does natural navigation entail? In the event of natural navigation, your AGV uses structures and contours in the environment to position itself. This navigation method has a major advantage in that no new infrastructure is required. In other words, there is no need to install inductive wires, magnets, tags or QR codes. When using natural navigation, you can also opt for structures and contours of the environment, possibly in combination with basic reflectors. The use of these types of reflectors ensures the best possible positioning of an automated guided vehicle. The positioning accuracy is approximately one centimetre and approximately one degree.
